Tim Doyle is Senior Policy Advisor to the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) and the Founder and Principal at Doyle Strategies, LLC. He has more than two decades of public policy and legal experience in multiple areas including corporate governance, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), federal regulatory, energy, environment, and Congressional investigations. Tim previously was Principal and General Counsel at Guidepost Strategies, and prior to that Vice President of Policy and General Counsel of the American Council for Capital Formation where he was responsible for the aforementioned policy issues and for providing executive level direction and management of research and policy initiatives.

Prior to that he served in the U.S. House of Representatives as Senior Counsel for the then-Chairman of the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee, Congressman Lamar Smith (R-TX) and Staff Director for the then-Chairman of the Oversight Subcommittee, Congressman Barry Loudermilk (R-GA). Prior to that he served as Senior Counsel for the then-Chairman of the House Committee on Natural Resources, Congressman Doc Hastings (R-WA). Tim started his career as a prosecuting attorney in Michigan, where he successfully balanced a heavy trial caseload while achieving a 90% conviction rate in trial.

Tim holds a J.D. from Michigan State University as well as a B.A. with a dual major in Political Theory & Constitutional Democracy and Criminal Justice. He is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and Michigan.
