Thomas J. Falk is the recently retired chairman and chief executive officer of Kimberly-Clark, home to some of the world’s most recognized and trusted brands, including Huggies, Kleenex, Scott, Kotex, Cottonelle, Depend, Andrex, Neve and WypAll. He served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of K-C for 16 years and concluded his 36-year tenure with the company on December 31, 2019.

A veteran of the consumer products industry, Mr. Falk was the architect of Kimberly-Clark’s Global Business Plan in 2003, which positioned the company to lead the world in essentials for a better life. Under his leadership, the company delivered significant growth and shareholder returns through strategic talent development, portfolio management, innovation, cost reduction and shareholder-friendly capital allocation.

Mr. Falk serves on the Boards of Lockheed Martin and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and as a National Governor of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. He also chaired the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’ 2013-2014 fundraising campaign and he and his wife, Karen, chaired the 2019-2020 campaign. He continues to actively advance the mission of this important organization.

Mr. Falk received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters of Science in Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

He and Karen have one son.
