Tara DiJulio is the Vice President & Chief Communications Officer for GE and Chief Communications Officer for GE Aerospace.

As a member of the senior leadership teams at GE and GE Aerospace, DiJulio is a strategic advisor to GE Chairman and CEO and GE Aerospace CEO H. Lawrence Culp, Jr. as GE continues on the path to become three independent companies focused on the growth sectors of health care, energy, and aviation. In early 2023, GE completed the successful spin-off of GE HealthCare as an independent, investment grade company and is on track to launch GE Aerospace and GE Vernova as standalone public companies in early 2024 while continuing to invent the future of flight and lead the energy transition.

As vice president and chief communications officer of GE, DiJulio leads GE’s communications function globally, including external communications and media relations, financial communications, public affairs, corporate reputation, and executive communications. At GE Aerospace, she oversees all communications, public affairs, and brand efforts and works closely with leaders to position the business for success.

Before joining GE in 2016, Tara spent nearly a decade in the U.S. Senate where she was a chief media strategist and national spokesperson for five U.S. senators, including serving as the communications director for the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Tara is a visiting fellow at the National Security Institute at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School and a graduate of the University of Washington, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in Communications and Political Science. She is married and has two children.
