Tara Hartnett

Tara Hartnett is a policy analyst for the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Health Project. Before joining BPC, Tara served as an AmeriCorps member with Erie Family Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Chicago. In this role, she worked to serve vulnerable and underserved populations by helping to provide mental health and substance use services, including health education and medication-assisted treatment.

Prior to that, Hartnett worked in a position focused on conducting outreach to individuals and families of lower incomes in order to increase participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies from the University of Rhode Island.
