Emma Sheffert is a Research Analyst for the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Health Project. Prior to working at BPC, she worked as a Policy Development Intern with Trust for America’s Health aiding in their Age-Friendly Public Health System project. Sheffert also interned with Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence (MI-14) as a legislative intern working on Appropriations Committee hearings. Before beginning her policy career, Sheffert also worked as a personal trainer for three years, designing and leading workout classes.

Sheffert completed her Master’s of Public Health with a focus in Health Policy at The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health in 2022. She also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
